I love the book because it touch on a lot of things that goes on im the home of a lot of people like me i had my first child at 14 so that itself was a lot for my mother to take on like it was her child somewhat because i was to young to get a job and also losing a loved one it takes a strong woman to be strong for everyone else to cry when noone is looking especially the ones who depends on u cause the truth is if you break they break i love this book i can go on and on. Great read. I haven't read in awhile and I was excited to have a book that opened the door again to get me back into reading.
I could relate to and understand the characters. I like how the author made the characters very realistic. She also touched on several topics that many families and young people coming of age deal with and how to adjust to in life. I enjoyed reading this book and I can not wait to read the second book.
